It would be desirable to tell some words about those people, whom it is difficult to replace. How do you think, why employers are so cared of them, and trying to keep them at the enterprise? Certainly, it is because they are real pros in the certain area.
The main thing in professionalism acquisition – you should become narrow-purpose worker. It at all does not mean that you will need the minimum of efforts and power for achievement of professional skills – it is absolutely not correct!
Narrow-purpose means excellent knowledge of the business without dispersion on a trifle and even the important things, which do not concern your competence. Remember: it is important to know “perfectly well” how to make the work, constantly to improve you skills, aspiring to reach an ideal!

All the rest – business of other experts, – do not take away another’s bread!
If at the enterprise where you work, or among your acquaintances there is a person who has some information, which can help you to become even more professional and to learn your business even better – do not hesitate to ask him/her to share useful knowledge with you.
Certainly, you should ask about help from the fellow worker persistently, but not persuasive: it is not necessary to stick constantly to the person with requests to explain something – the person simply will decide that you are the extremely incompetent employee. And to distract somebody constantly from direct responsibilities is not the best method to cause liking and desire to help.
Try to understand everything yourself and if you can’t understand something – safely ask for help. Also remember: it is very important to explain to the person what concrete you do not understand, having carefully prepared for conversation and having found an interesting question.
There is one more advice, which could help you to make the career. It is not necessary to argue with the heads even if it is obvious that the chief is not right. It is not necessary to prove your point of view very ardently – most likely you will not come out the winner from dispute, but only will spoil relations with a management.
But here it is necessary to realize exactly, when the heads wrongfulness can lead to serious troubles: to loss of contracts, losses, etc. Only in this case it is necessary to direct attention of your boss that he is not right, carefully on items having explained his mistakes and also what consequences will be at the employer owing to wrong actions.
To argue concerning dates of performance of work or its quality – it is silly. The chief knows, how you should execute the obligations, – for this reason he takes an executive position.
